Who we are looking for
This is a platform lead position on the Alpha and Middle Office Technology team. We are seeking a senior developer with 15 years of experience who has Front and Middle Office domain expertise. The candidate is someone with a proven record of driving development, mentoring geographically diverse teams, who is a hands on contributor in the analysis, design, development and execution of the project. The candidate must have demonstrated success in delivering business solutions in a public and hybrid cloud environment. The candidate will work directly with senior business , IT leaders and clients and must be able to work with minimal management guidance. The candidate must be creative and self-motivated to deliver on mission critical projects with tight timelines and competing priorities.
What you will be responsible for
As Senior Delivery Manager you will
- Set Strategic Vision and Roadmap. Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and evaluate their potential impact on the platform. This may involve researching new technologies, exploring potential integrations, and recommending improvements to enhance the platform's capabilities.
- Lead and guide technical teams in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the platform's infrastructure, architecture, and functionalities. Drive solution design ensuring all cloud solutions exhibit higher level of cost efficiency, performance, security, scalability and reliability.
- Good knowledge of Collateral Bilateral business for margin management. Knowledge of Triparty business, RQV matching, collateral selection, settlement, custody and management during the life of the transaction.
- Manage collateral management platform for various business lines, including securities lending, repo, bilateral / cleared OTC, and exchange-traded derivatives
- Integrate with various market infrastructure providers, including tri-party agents, CCPs, and brokers, to streamline collateral processes.
- Work closely with various stakeholders, including product managers, business analysts, developers, and users, to gather requirements, communicate platform updates, and ensure alignment between platform development and business needs.
- Design, develop and maintain applications for cloud, leveraging cloud native architecture principles and technologies
- Implement a comprehensive collateral management platform that services client needs, drives simplification, and reduces redundant collateral capabilities bank wide
- Continuously monitor the platform's performance, identify bottlenecks and issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
- Exhibit expertise in end-to-end architecture for SaaS and State Street application modules.
- Manage vendor products and establish relationships with vendor partners.
- Mentor team on Cloud architecture and design, ensuring higher productivity of the team
- Drive architecture and design decisions with Product, Operations, and Global Technology to ensure design for strategic and long-term solution
- Ensure deployment and operationalization of cloud applications
- Design services, review code, merge, debug as required, package and deploy. Will be responsible for development and delivery of components.
- Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.
- Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, developers, or other technical professionals involved in the platform's development, operation, and maintenance. This includes setting goals, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Manage cross team dependencies with other business and IT areas
- Work on Collateral Management projects, understand the business domain and continually develop business knowledge. Migrate clients from legacy Collateral platforms

Salary Range :
140,000 - $222,500 Annual
