Required Qualifications: FAA airframe and powerplant aircraft mechanic certificates. Five years A&P work experience, including various operations such as Part 91, 135, and/or 145. E; a bachelor’s degree or the willingness to earn one; as well as excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include teaching/training experience and five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas: Aviation Mathematics, Physics, Weight and Balance or powerplant fuel systems
Job Responsibilities: This position would instruct and develop courses that may include the following topics: Aircraft Fluid Power Systems, Airframe Fuel, Water, and Waste Systems, Turbine Engines and Accessory Systems and Airframe Systems and Inspections. Student advising is also a key responsibility.
