Customer Service Attendant
(M-F Morning Shift 4:45AM-8AM & Weekends)
State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for part time, non-exempt, and non-benefit eligible, Activity Center Customer Service Attendant position for the activity center. The Activity Center Customer Service Attendant is responsible for front line customer service to all patrons. It is important to greet all patrons entering the building and providing strong support during their stay. In addition, the successful candidate will provide support to members through our point of sale software; provide friendly and accurate information during phone calls, and solutions to customer questions in person, email, and on social media. This position also provides assistance with general cleaning and maintaining the facility calendar. Finally, the successful candidate will provide direct administrative assistance to the Activity Center Coordinator.
- Two to three years of comparable customer service experience helpful.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence, memos, letters and reports.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, supervisor, faculty, staff, students and other employees of State Technical College of Missouri.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Good command of the written English language, spelling, and grammar.
- A combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of the above.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software. (rec trac)

- Administers Rec Trac software and support to handle software issues as they arise.
- Suggest new and improved processes for day to day operations.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and submit maintenance requests when needed
