What are the responsibilities and job description for the OFFICE ASSISTANT (TYPING) position at State Treasurer's Office?
Under direction and supervision of the Manager of the Conduit Financing and Investor Relations Section of the Public Finance Division, provides clerical support for the Division. Duties are of a wide variety of complex and varied nature involving the use of independent judgment, the evaluation of complex situations, and taking appropriate action.
This position is also being advertised at the Office Technician (Typing) level. Candidates may apply at both levels. However, candidates must submit a separate application for each level. Please see JC-469895 for more details.

Department Information
The Public Finance Division (PFD) of the State Treasurer's Office is responsible for managing the State's debt portfolio. As one of the largest municipal bond issuers in the nation, PFD oversees billions of dollars of debt issuances in the public capital markets each year and performs debt administration functions for various state programs that have more than $90 billion of bonds outstanding.

Minimum Qualifications
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.
