/Duties
- Conduct campus tours for prospective students, families, and other visitors.
- Answer questions and interact with guests to enhance their experience.
- Share insights about academic programs, extracurricular activities, and campus resources.
- Greet and welcome all guests.
Days/Hours Needed
Tour times are:
- Monday- Friday at 10 a.m. and noon
- Student is required to have at least 2 shifts a week
- Scheduling is based on availability of staff
- Dates needed: May 19 through August 15

Required Qualifications
- Must be a current SUNY student
- Great public speaking and communication skills
- Ability to engage and connect with a diverse audience
- Knowledgeable of campus resources and policies
- Love of SUNY Cortland
Preferred Qualifications
- Live in Cortland County or surrounding counties
- Previous experience in customer service, education, or public speaking is a plus
- Knowledge of various academic majors and student life
- Enthusiasm and passion, adaptability, teamwork, cultural competence, organizational skills
Physical Demands
- Walking around campus in all weather conditions for approximately 2 hours.
- Occasional lifting and moving of office supplies and recruitment material.
