Please note: this position is paid on an hourly basis and limited to 1500 hours per calendar year. The salary range for Scientific Aid is $17.73 - $21.04 per hour.

Desirable Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.
- Knowledge or experience with water quality concepts, tools, and principles and the analysis of water quality data.
- Experience reviewing and/or developing technical scientific reports/technical documents.
- Proficiency in personal computer and software applications including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point), GPS, geographic information systems (GIS) mapping tools, and Google Earth.
- Ability to and/or experience with entering water quality information into databases and spreadsheets.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with other staff and the public in the course of work.
- Thoroughness and follow-through in completing assigned tasks.
- Customer service work experience.
