We are seeking a highly qualified Classroom Instructor to teach courses recognized by the New York State Education Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing curriculum and course outlines, developing daily or weekly lesson plans, and conducting a schedule of formal instruction for residents of an Office of Children and Family Services facility.
The minimum qualifications for this position include one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or a related field. Open to the public, this role requires current certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty. We are looking for individuals with expertise in subjects such as Math 7-12, Physics 7-12, Earth Science 7-12, Biology 7-12, and General Science 7-12.
