Teach and Inspire
As an Instructional Coordinator with the Office of Children and Family Services, you will have the opportunity to teach and inspire residents of an OCFS facility. You will prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, utilizing your knowledge and expertise to promote academic growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and modify curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Develop and implement daily and weekly lesson plans, incorporating best practices and research-based methods.
- Conduct formal instruction, providing individualized support and accommodations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer.
- Current New York State Education Department initial certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty.
- Two years of post-certification teaching experience.
Special Consideration:
Mathematics (7-12 grade level) instructors are preferred.
