Open to the public, this position requires current certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty. The selected individual will work with residents of an Office of Children and Family Services facility, conducting a schedule of formal instruction.
This opportunity may be designated 55 b/c and is subject to verification of applicant eligibility. Specialties being recruited for include Math 7-12, Physics 7-12, Earth Science 7-12, Biology 7-12, and General Science 7-12. Applicants must provide specific date ranges for qualifying experience, education, or certifications.
In addition to teaching duties, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Background Check (CBC), which includes State and federal Criminal History Record Checks. A background investigation is also mandatory, screening against the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR) and the Staff Exclusion List (SEL).
