Duties Description The incumbent will report to the Art Director (Multimedia Production Program Specialist 2) within the Branding & Stakeholder Engagement Unit, and will assist in the following to further the mission of the Change Management Bureau and Public Information Office :
- Design of printed and digital materials to promote and educate internal / external stakeholders about Board programs and policies. This includes, but is not limited to :
- Reports, newsletters, publications, pamphlets, brochures, banners, posters, postcards, flyers / invitations
- Logos, icons, informational graphics
- Illustrations
- Web / social media assets
- Multimedia assets (i.e., animations)
- Outreach displays
- Signage
- PowerPoint presentation development
- Campaign development
- Video / multimedia development
- Revision of translated documents
- Preparing design files for print, coordination of print jobs
- Researching / organizing stock photography and other photo sources, photo editing
- Ensuring compliance with the NYS Branding Guidelines
- Project tracking and organization
- Serve on project teams as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications Non-Competitive : Bachelor's degree in an art or design field such as art, drawing, painting, illustration, digital design, or interactive media and two years of experience; or an associate's degree in the same fields and four years of experience.
