Environmental Health Student Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to support our mission in environmental health.
About the Role
The Environmental Health Student Assistant will assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with stakeholders. The role may also involve participating in environmental health inspections and providing technical assistance to communities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and communication with stakeholders
- Participate in environmental health inspections and provide technical assistance to communities
- Assist with special projects, such as research and data analysis
Requirements:
- Must be a matriculated college student
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or graduate student interested in public/environmental health
- Experience with computer programs, such as ArcGIS and other mapping software
