We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Controller to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making. You will oversee various accounting functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the financial health of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Direct daily accounting operations of multi subsidiaries.
- Managing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
- Monthly preparation of financial statements to include general ledger account reconciliations, journal entries, and work paper management.
- Daily cash flow management.
- Monthly preparation of multi state sales tax filings and reconciliations.
- Assist in payroll functions as needed and maintain reconciliation of deductions, benefits, and general ledger activity.
- Maintain AP processes and vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain AR processes and customer reconciliations.
- Recommend and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage intercompany transactions.
- Assist CFO with financial projects and other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience with growth in a Controller role.
- Advanced competency in accounting and business management software.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is preferred but not required.
Reports to Chief Financial Officer
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
