Foreman

The Shop Foreman will manage the flow of jobs, oversee production schedules, and ensure all tasks are completed on time and to specifications. You will be responsible for optimizing workflow, maintaining high efficiency, and supporting the Operations Manager with various operational duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize job flow and verify production times against estimates.
• Assist with flexible production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Establish plant layout and address bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
• Ensure staff efficiency meets standards and address any issues.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager on production and machine time.
• Oversee attendance, payroll, hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain job accuracy, manage rework, and uphold production standards.
• Monitor material use, budget adherence, and collaborate with the Purchaser.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and secure.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote good housekeeping practices.
• Track and update production and delivery schedules.
• Implement new tools and processes to enhance production efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production environment.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of production processes, equipment maintenance, and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per hour
