Position Overview :
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our dynamic men’s apparel buying team. This role supports the buying office in ensuring the smooth execution of merchandising strategies and operational tasks. As a Merchandise Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with buyers and vendors to assist in order management. This is a hybrid position with remote work from home approximately 3 days per week and 2 days per week from our Fullerton, California office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Order Management : Support the buying team in creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in product details, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Accounts Payable : Key point person to validate incoming invoices prior to payments being processed.
- Data Management : Enter and update product information in merchandising systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date for assortment plans, pricing, and inventory tracking.
- Sample Coordination : Track, organize, and manage product samples for meetings, photo shoots, and seasonal line reviews. Maintain the sample closet to ensure it is up-to-date and accessible.
- Vendor Communication : Assist with sample requests, tracking, follow-ups, and resolving issues related to orders, deliveries, or product information.
- Reporting : Generate weekly sales and inventory reports to track product performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
- Meeting Preparation : Prepare materials and supplies for internal and vendor meetings.
