Job Title : Nurse Manager
Job Specialty : Surgery - Cardiac

Shift : Day - 8x5 - 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PM
Guaranteed Hours : 37.5 hours per week
Experience : Management experience 2 years minimum; Cardiothoracic OR experience 3-4 years minimum
License : Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
Certifications : Preferred - CNOR certification
Must-Have : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Job Description :
- Seeking an experienced manager with strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Responsible for managing a staff of 8 RNs with varied experience levels.
- Handle approximately 525 cases per year; maintain steady volume.
- Unit will transition to robotics soon.
- Management is a 24 / 7 responsibility; manager must be reachable at all times.
- Preferred candidates possess a Master's degree and have experience in an academic center.
