COMPENSTATION:
This is a HOURLY/NON-EXEMPT position. The hourly range is: $21.44 - $29.88.
This position is covered under the Bakery Local #37 agreement.
(This pay range represents the rates of pay for step 1 to the maximum step for this position in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. The starting pay for the successful candidate will start at step 1.)
JOB SUMMARY:
Openings exists for PART-TIME WAREHOUSE BAKERY CHECKERS.
The shift for this role is a graveyard shift (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; starting at 8PM).
A limited number of openings exist in our Bakery Distribution Center for Part-Time Bakery Checkers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify all incoming invoices
- Fill orders to be shipped to the stores
- Check bread against store orders to insure proper shipment
- Unload delivery trucks and stack full bread racks
- Unload empty bread racks from trucks
- Wash bread racks and return to Bakery Distribution
- General cleanup around Bakery Distribution Facility
- Communication with supervisors, forepersons, and others as required
- Assist with other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience with loading and unloading delivery trucks and stocking
- Must have basic math and reading skills
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain a sense of integrity and ability to work well with others
- Must possess the ability to complete given assignment within allotted time periods in a safe and diligent manner
- Physical ability to do moderate to heavy lifting, reaching, twisting, stooping, bending and other movements on a repetitive basis
- Must be able to work in a distribution environment where temperatures may range up to / over 80 degrees
- Must pass a physical and pre-employment drug test
