Key Responsibilities
- Contact prospective customers and develop carrier relationships to support our customers' freight needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize transportation spend.
- Work with key stakeholders to determine rates for required services and present proposals to customers.
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals and objectives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
- 3-5 years sales experience in the transportation industry.
- Knowledge of brokerage customers and shippers required.
- TMS (Transportation Management Software) experience preferred.
- Sales CRM experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills.
