Job Description
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. The SRS will track inventory, keep accurate records of packaging and weighing items, develop shippers, printing shipping labels, inspect goods and distribute products to other departments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare required paperwork, package parts appropriately and use the correct shipping method to ship parts to the customer.

Reference the “Customer Requirements” Book, customer purchase order and internal job routing.

Check the current delivery schedule and ship parts to meet customer requirements.

Create and print packing list.

Assemble packing list and required documentation.

Package parts appropriately to prevent damage during shipment.

Arrange shipping method as necessary.

Disposition completed paperwork and related documentation.

Additional Skills and Experience

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

Previous shipping or precision machining job shop experience preferred.
