As the Procurement Manager, you will lead the sourcing and purchasing of packaging, ingredients, and contract manufacturing services for our ready-to-drink canned cocktail production. This will include managing key supplier relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, and minimizing waste across all procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Procurement of Contract Manufacturers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers, negotiate production agreements, and ensure they meet Stateside Brands' quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Lead sourcing strategies for packaging, ingredients, and other materials critical to production.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and track performance to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, logistics, quality) to forecast demand and secure supply continuity with both materials and contract manufacturing services.
- Ensure all materials and contract manufacturing services are delivered on time to meet production schedules and avoid delays.
- Continuously seek to reduce waste across the supply chain and procurement processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Manage inventory levels with operations, ensuring materials are available as needed while avoiding overstocking and excess inventory.
- Develop and manage KPIs related to procurement performance, such as lead times, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Conduct supplier and contract manufacturer audits to ensure compliance with Stateside Brands’ standards and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, material costs, and supply chain risks, and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the beverage or food industry.
- Proven experience in managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and optimizing procurement processes, including contract manufacturers.
- Strong analytical skills to identify cost-reduction opportunities and process efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Estimated Base Salary Range: $95,000-$115,000 USD.
- Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
- The salary range refers to base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
