This role is central to our mission, driving the development and execution of key marketing strategies that elevate consumer experiences and deepen brand engagement. You'll spearhead initiatives across various channels, harnessing creativity and strategic insight to enhance visibility and drive market growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP of Trade Strategy, Regional, and State Sales Directors and Managers to craft and deploy brand and channel strategies, focusing on on-premise and off-premise channels. This includes promotional activities, product listings, and event participation to enhance brand visibility and sales within your key DMA.
- Work closely with the local Sales team to ensure national programming is executed with excellence at the local level, adjusting plans regionally as needed.
- Manage and execute against a formal planning calendar for each brand.
- Develop retailer-specific strategies and suggestions derived from a wide array of data and research findings and craft a story to sell-in opportunities.
- Develop consumer promotions for in-store use that enhance product engagement and boost sales.
- Actively participate in identifying new business opportunities and enhancing sales pitches, including product pricing and portfolio management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including liquor boards and buyers, to secure new business through strategic promotions and exclusive offers.
- Serve as a pivotal figure in promoting shopper engagement within the larger marketing team.
- Participate in GSM meetings.
- Monitor sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Collaborate with the regional sales team to identify and evaluate promotional opportunities that align with brand and sales objectives.
- Serve as a key source of market insights, gathering competitive and consumer intelligence to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Oversee local budget and work with the finance team to ensure all locations, invoicing, billbacks, coops, and budgets are maintained with diligence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
- Exceptional ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Deep understanding of the alcoholic beverage industry, including regulatory environments and marketing compliance.
- Proven project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Off-Premise and On-Premise channel experience, with a solid grasp of the differing channels.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally and collaboratively, both internally and externally with all key stakeholders including distributors, customers, and brand partners.
- Skilled in negotiation and relationship management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Availability to travel as required (estimated 20-25%).
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
