Position Overview: We are seeking a New York, Director of Advertising, who will lead a group of Account Executives and sales support staff, while reporting to the National Vice President of Advertising Sales. We are looking for a passionate sales leader who is excited to help us continue redefining premium publishing through innovation, creativity, and the diversity of people and ideas.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and coach New York sales and support teams to maintain and grow revenue across key advertising verticals, including Automotive, Financial Services, Consumer Technology, Media and Entertainment, Travel, Healthcare, etc.
- Commit to a high activity, strategic sales culture and instill/support that work ethic across the team.
- Attend in-person meetings, join calls/presentations, and help guide client discussions, working alongside the sales team.
- Identify and influence key decision-makers across the agency landscape.
- Work collaboratively with all levels of staff and across departments as needed for presentations, proposals, and the RFP process, with a high degree of professionalism, quality, and in a timely manner.
- Participate and represent USATN at local industry events.
- Stay current on online advertising trends and innovations.
- Proven track record of leading teams with 8 or more years of sales management experience managing teams in the Advertising, Media or Agency realm.
- Strategic approach to selling multi-faceted programs and managing a diverse list of clients.
- Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers, not just the program or price.
- High level of experience in full funnel digital strategies including Branded Content to Programmatic, Search Marketing, Paid Social, etc.
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal presentations.
- Ability to open doors with senior-level agency and client contacts and build relationships that lead to renewable business and larger partnership opportunities.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality.
- Experience in Salesforce, SellerCrowd, MediaRadar preferred
