Who We Need Now
The leadership of the school must maintain a laser like focus on creating and maintaining a College-Going Academic School Culture of Efficacy. The part-time Human Resources HR Manager and Special Assistant to the CEO directly supports the mission of Statesmen Academy for Boys by ensuring that HR processes and procedures are executed with fidelity while providing operational and logistical support to the CEO.
What You Will Do
The part-time HR Manager and Special Assistant to the CEO will have three primary bodies of work that are designed to support strong organizational operations as well as efficiency in the schedule of the CEO.
Human Resources
- Liaise with the Executive Leadership Team to execute all functions of HR; recruitment, selection, onboarding and orientation, professional development, discipline, and separation
Schedule Coordination
- Provide sophisticated calendar management for the Executive Leadership Team with a focus on operational and logistical support to the CEO
- Support Board-related administrative tasks that support the CEO in effectively leading the organization
Communication
- Communicate professionally, efficiently, and appropriately in engaging all stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for and gatekeeper/gateway to the CEO
- Coordinate all Executive Leadership Team meetings, events and gatherings
Who Must You Be
The person best suited for this role is an outstanding communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will be an organized self-starter with a heart for people and an eye for detail. The best candidates will have an advanced degree, significant experience with school or system level operations as well as knowledge of the technology, data systems and software used to engage this work.
