Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and clerical skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively and manage various office functions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle payroll, event planning, team management, and training development while ensuring a smooth workflow within the office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining office supplies.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee records.
  • Coordinate event planning for company meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities.
  • Supervise front desk operations, ensuring excellent customer service and communication with clients and visitors.
  • Develop training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development initiatives.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
  • Manage schedules for team members to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist in team management by providing support and guidance to staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in an office management capacity.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Experience with payroll systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan events effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in team management or supervision is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Amite, LA 70422 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Amite, LA 70422: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $15 - $25
