Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Equipment Rental Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their equipment rental needs, ensuring that all equipment is maintained and in optimal working condition. Your expertise in heavy and industrial equipment will be essential in providing exceptional service and support to our clients.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate rental equipment based on their project requirements.
- Provide detailed information on equipment operation, safety protocols, and maintenance.
- Conduct inspections of rental equipment to ensure it meets safety standards and is in good working order.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed
- Manage inventory levels of rental equipment and coordinate with the team for repairs or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of rentals, returns, and customer transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate heavy machinery such as cranes when necessary for customer demonstrations or site assessments.
Requirements
- CDL Required
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation or industrial equipment handling.
- Strong mechanical skills with a background in automotive diagnostics or repair.
- Ability to perform welding tasks as required for equipment maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on the role's responsibilities.
