OverviewWe are seeking a highly-motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. We are a fast growing, heavy equipment sales and service provider. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our products and services directly to customers in the field. You will leverage your sales expertise to build relationships, conduct product demonstrations, and drive business development within your assigned territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction and excavation machinery and have a passion for achieving sales targets.
Duties
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
- Work closely with senior management and staff.
- Travel to jobsites and potential prospect locations throughout Utah and Nevada.
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales.
- Utilize our CRM for tracking customer interactions, managing leads, and reporting on sales activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new clients through upselling strategies.
- Manage territory effectively to maximize coverage and sales potential.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional strategies with market demands.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to inform product development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales or direct sales roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of business development principles and territory management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that resonate with potential customers.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results in a competitive environment.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.75 - $19.89 per hour
