General Job Description
We are looking to recruit an observant lifeguard to ensure the safety of our residents and guests. The lifeguard will explain and enforce (when needed) the pool safety rules to residents and guests, and warn them about unsafe situations. You may also be called upon from time to time to assist the pool attendant with some maintenance duties.
LIfeguard Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the swimmers on a daily basis.
- Explaining and enforcing pool rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of residents and their guests.
- Monitoring designated areas to recognize signs of danger.
- Warning swimmers regarding unsafe situations.
- Maintaining order in swimming areas.
- Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning.
- Performing first aid procedures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of all areas.
Lifeguard Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older on the day of hire.
- Must be certified lifeguard.
- AED certification preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to interact with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
- Physically able to do minor lifting.
· Willingness to work on a flexible time schedule during weekdays, weekends, holidays, and holidays.
SALARY: $15.00 PER HOUR
