General Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy pool attendant to look after our guests and manage the swimming pool area. In this role, you will be required to welcome and attend to our guests, enforce safety rules, and manage pool equipment and facilities, among other duties.
Pool Attendant Responsibilities:
- Open and close pool area. Unlock/ lock gate to pool area.
- Welcoming guests.
- Check in residents using their swipe card.
- Signing in resident guests when needed.
- Issuing day passes when needed.
- Setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture.
- Ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.
- Skim pool a minimum of two times per day.
- Turning on/off water sprinklers for adult swim.
- Enforcing pool rules as set out by Winding Hills.
- Monitoring the activity of guests and ensuring their safety.
- Reporting any damages or incidences to the supervisor.
- Performing hourly water chemical testing.
- Vacuuming the pool twice a week between the hours of 8-10am.
- Cleaning vacuum and pool filters as needed.
- Preforming daily housekeeping duties such s but not limited to
- Sweeping patio area and straightening tables & chairs
- Sweeping bugs and debris from entry area & around pool
- Check both restrooms and replenish with supplies if needed. Wipe down counters & sweep two times per day.
- Hose down bathroom floor twice per week, more if needed.
- Gathering trash at closing and storing it in storage closet. Every Wednesday bring trash to curb for collection and return cans to storage area after collection.
- Evening before scheduled lawn service pull all lawn chairs onto concrete area. Return once lawn has been serviced.
- General upkeep of pool areas and common areas.
POOL ATTENDANT REQUIREMENTS
· Must be at least 16 years old on hire date.
· Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
· Physically fit, and able to perform minor physical labor.
· Ability to move and lift furniture and equipment.
· Consistent appearance and pleasant demeanor.
· Willingness to work on a flexible time schedule during weekdays, weekends, holidays, and holidays.
SALARY: $12.00 PER HOUR
