What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow Truck Operator position at Statewide Towing & Wrecker Inc.?
As a Tow Truck Operator, you should be able to take orders from the Dispatcher and communicate your enroute details to the customers. You should also be able to maintain an accurate record of your day-to-day activities. You will also be responsible for safely loading and unloading vehicles on the tow truck.
To be able to perform in this job role, you should hold a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and experience in handling heavy machinery. You should also be familiar with the traffic rules and regulations. You should be willing to work at flexible hours.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven work experience as a Tow Truck Driver, Truck Driver, Lorry Driver or a similar role in the Logistics department is a plus.
- Holding a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and clean background check.
- Complete knowledge of road safety protocols
- Familiarity with GPS software and navigation tools (Towbooks). *Will Train*
- Excellent observational skills
- Good time management and decision-making skills
- Excellent physical dexterity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel to different locations and work at flexible hours
- Able to work flexible hours (Roatating week and weekend nights)
- Ability to offer excellent customer service

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
