We are seeking a skilled and dedicated person for a directional drill boring crew position. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site protocols. As a Driller, you will be responsible for performing horizontal drilling tasks, operating various types of machinery, and ensuring that all drilling operations are conducted safely and efficiently. This position is for a highly motivated person that works well in a group environment. We are seeking somebody that can potentially become a foreman and run a boring crew. Applicant must be able to function in a high paced environment. We offer full benefits and great pay.
Duties
- Must have Class A CDL Driver's License
- Must be proficient in directional drilling with larger than 40,000 pound drills.
- Must be able to track and locate.
- Must be self-directed and motivated.
- Operate drilling equipment to perform horizontal drilling tasks.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best drilling locations and methods.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Maintain and inspect drilling equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in backhoe operations for site preparation and excavation.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risks on the construction site.
- Document drilling progress and report any issues or delays to supervisors.
