Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and creative Intern to join our dynamic Social Media team at Static Nails. This internship presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about beauty, social media, and content creation to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and FUN environment.
Key Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Assist in developing and implementing social media content plans and strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create compelling and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, prioritizing Instagram and TikTok.
- Spearhead content creation efforts by creating and presenting the team with daily videos and imagery.
- Monitor social media channels for trending topics, news, and engagement opportunities.
- Engage with our online community and respond to comments and messages in a professional manner.
- Support the Social Media Manager in analyzing performance metrics and preparing reports on social media activities.
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program majoring in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Graphic Design, Journalism, Photography, Film, Entrepreneurship or a related creative field.
- Must be able and willing to wear all Static Nails products including pop-on nails and lacquers (cannot wear acrylics, gels, dips etc).
- Experience taking and creating content with phones and/or cameras.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Comfortable with being on camera and speaking directly to camera
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe programs etc.
- Ability to commute to Static Nails office location, transportation is not provided.
- Must have a properly functioning laptop and cell phone to conduct work, note that recent generation iPhones are preferred for content creation.
