Job Description:
Station Athletics is a recognizable boutique gym brand in Northern New Jersey that is continuing to grow and looking for someone who has a passion for fitness and helping people. As a Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for running group fitness classes and creating an in-class experience that keeps people coming back for more. After the pandemic, so many people in our already unhealthy country fell back into bad habits. Each of our fitness coaches are the first line of defense when it comes to getting people back into healthy habits that not only leads to looking better and feeling better on the outside, but on the inside as well.
If you are someone who has a passion for fitness, loves accountability, and wants to be part of a company looking to make big differences in the world then you could be the perfect person for the position.
The person coming in must have previous experience running functional fitness group classes and extensive experience with barbell based lifts (i.e. snatch, clean and jerk, etc.). We can work with you honing these skills, but you must have a base to work with and also identify with the company's core values which will be discussed below. Must also have some certification like a CrossFit level 1, USAW Level 1, NSCA CPT, etc.
This is a part-time position based in Sparta, NJ. This is an awesome opportunity for:
- Someone who has had at least 1 year of experience running group fitness classes.
- Someone who has at least 1 year of experience learning and/or coaching barbell lifts like a snatch or clean

Skills Required:
- Organization and planning: Plans and organizes effective warm-ups for the class.
- Attention to detail: Can recognize movement and offer effective cues to fix it.
- Energy: Can be high energy in class to make it the best hour of each members’ day
- Self-Starter: Demonstrates an ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information.
- Accountability: Is happy to be held accountable in an effort to provide the highest level of service.
- Communication: Is happy to communicate with the team on a regular basis.

Station Athletics is a boutique fitness brand with multiple locations in northern New jersey. We were founded on the concept that most gyms were not truly focusing on the success of their members and that fitness in general could be done in a better way. We looked at what people really need to succeed and we broke our program down into fitness, nutrition, and accountability.
