Construction Field Superintendent
Job Summary: As a Construction Field Superintendent, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects. Your role will involve ensuring quality control, safety, schedule management, material management, and subcontractor management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects.
- Ensure that construction meets quality standards and is inspected to ensure quality.
- Ensure that construction follows safety standards and legal requirements.
- Ensure that construction follows the project schedule.
- Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and placement of materials and equipment.
- Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and ensure they meet their contractual obligations.
- Develop and implement cost-effective plans for project completion.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline.
- Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.
- Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.
- Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with fuel station installations and removals.
- AB licensed in Texas; other state licensing preferred but not required.
- Professionalism.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry.
- Must live in Texas.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
