Job Summary: The Service Technician 1 is an entry-level position responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of equipment found in service stations and convenience gas stations. This includes fuel dispensers, submersible fuel pumps, service station site controllers, credit card readers, cash register consoles, pumping PCW, tank & line monitoring equipment, and other related devices. The Service Technician 1 must possess a wide variety of skills and the ability to work through difficult problems to ensure the smooth operation of all equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, submersible fuel pumps, and service station site controllers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with credit card readers, cash register consoles, and pumping PCW.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tank & line monitoring equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Familiarity with computer operations and an aptitude for learning computer skills.
- Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification, preferred. (Level 2 and above)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
- Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.
