Plumbing Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of plumbing systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Plumbing Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their plumbing needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water, gas, and drainage systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective and efficient solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of issues and solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Keep up to date with industry standards and advancements.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing or related fields.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Experience in construction plumbing is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus for transporting tools and materials.
• Skills in welding or carpentry are advantageous but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a commercial vehicle if necessary, along with a clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
