What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Assistant position at STATZ Corporation?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Communicate with suppliers to request pricing and other information needed to bid on government solicitations
· Analyze pricing and other information from suppliers to ensure all necessary information is provided
· Answer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
· Assist clients after contract signings/purchase orders to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
· Contact regular and prospective customers to present our SDVOSB Dealer services, present line card of subcontractor supplier base, and solicit orders
· Identify and qualify new suppliers/subcontractors as needed to fulfill procurement requirements of customers.
· Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
· Negotiate details of contracts and payments.
· Perform administrative duties, such as keeping sales records, entering bids, and following up with suppliers
· Assist Procurement Lead with duties as assigned
· Quality-Systems (ISO) Management/Inventory (will train as needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
