Job Function:

The job of the Stäubli Assembly Operator is to perform a variety of mechanical / electrical assemblies as instructed, with limited supervision.

Reports to:

Production Manager – North America

Responsibilities and Objectives:

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings and instructions
• Perform quality checks and functional tests
• Adhere to safety and quality standards
• Document work processes and results
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of machines and tools
• Work in a Clean Room environment as needed

Qualifications:

• Completed technical or vocational training (e.g., Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic) or equivalent qualification/work experience
• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity
• Careful and methodical work style with attention to detail
• Team player with reliability

Physical Requirements:

• Periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
• Dexterity and accuracy as needed to operate equipment
• Able to wear / change into Clean Room clothing
• Able to wear required PPE as needed

Work schedule:

• Willingness to work shifts, with hours from 7:30AM – 3:30PM or other hours as needed
• This is an Hourly, Non-Exempt role (OT Eligible)
