Summary/Objective
The Sales Support position is responsible for supporting our Outside Sales team. They are responsible for providing timely and accurate proposals and quotes, conducting effective research on requested products and effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.

Key Assignments Include:

- Work directly and collaborate with outside sales team and customer service representatives.
- Provide timely quote requests for potential and existing accounts.
- Provide outstanding account management and customer service to customers.
- Address any issues with product-offer alternates, research discontinued product options to ensure quality and cost effectiveness of alternatives.
- Provide assistance to Bid Analysts on any current or potential customer bid proposals as needed.
- Work with vendors to negotiate pricing on products.
- Strong computer skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of High School diploma or GED
- Strong oral and written communication skills
The Ideal Candidate will preferably possess the following experience and qualities:
- Minimum demonstrated experience of 1-3 years’ experience in account management, preferably in a large multi-location distributor. Experiencing servicing large multi-location accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft office, including Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to problem solve effectively
- Ability to work with multiple teams.
- Prior experience in order entry, quoting and problem resolution
Work Environment
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
