Summary/Objective

Warehouse Associate Intern - Essential Functions 

• Responsible for receiving truck and small carrier shipments into the system and putting away the product into its assigned location appropriately.
• Responsible for fulfilling and picking customer orders based from company pick tickets and staging orders appropriately for shipping.
• Generating labels and shipping documents for all picked orders via company TMS and organizing shipments appropriately for carrier pick-ups or truck company truck deliveries.
• Ensure the fulfillment of customers’ orders are processed accurately and timely.
• This position may be assigned to specific areas of the distribution center based on the daily needs, which would include receiving, shipping, inventory management, facility maintenance, customer or inventory inquiries.
• These jobs operate in a distribution center. The distribution center role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, and other material handling tools. Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 65 lbs., climb ladders and work on material handling equipment such as forklifts and other moving apparatus. Hours of operation are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent.
• Have knowledge and minimum 1-year experience with shipping and receiving processes and ability to provide timely and accurate shipments and receiving.
• Experience operating forklift equipment and pallet jacks.

Customer Service Intern - Essential Functions 

• Order Entry
• Processing credits and back-orders
• Assist with filing.
• This position may be assigned to specific area of the customer service department based on the daily needs of the business, which would include answering and directing phone calls, filing and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
• This job operates in a professional office environment. A customer service employee routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Required Education and Experience

• College student enrolled in the studies of business, communications, or other related field.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Microsoft Office knowledge

Outside Account Intern - Essential Functions 

• Participate in the conceptualization, design, project plan and development of a marketing concepts.
• Call prospective customers to introduce the concept with the goal of generating leads for the Outside Account Manager in the territory.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Account Manager to identify potential customer list.
• Work within the operations and customer service areas to gain a better understanding of the business and how we deliver product to our customers.
• Prepare sales information for Regional Sales Manager as needed.
• Must be able travel daily to assigned geographic territory

Experience: 
• Qualified candidates would have completed at a minimum of 2 years, and the preferred candidate would be completing their 3rd year at the time of the internship.
