Position Summary:

The Director of Student Services at Stautzenberger College in Maumee, Ohio plays a pivotal role in enhancing the academic experience and success of students within the university. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing a range of student services, ensuring that programs are effectively developed and implemented to support student engagement, retention, and achievement. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in curriculum development, academic advising, and administrative management, while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.

Principal Duties:

• Collaborate with faculty and administration to enhance curriculum development that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Participate and assist in the execution of the school's institutional planning document.
• Generate weekly and monthly campus reports.
• Coordinate campus re-entry campaigns and work with students who have dropped to re-enter and complete their program. Ensure campus re-entry budgets are achieved and ensure that appropriate paperwork (Admissions and Financial Aid) are completed timely and accurately.
• Participate in weekly meetings to become familiar with new students.
• Monitor retention based on accreditation guidelines to ensure the appropriate benchmarks are achieved.
• Conduct daily student retention meetings to ensure all students are discussed who are of concern.
• Document and ensure student Satisfactory Academic Progress.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related degree is required.
• Previous experience working in career education is required, with preference in student services.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in recruiting and training staff within an educational environment.
• Must have the ability to work independently to self-start and self-monitor work projects.
• Must have excellent communication (verbal and written)).
• Must be a team player with a positive outlook on making an impact on the lives of others.
