What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales position at Staver Hydraulics Co., Inc.?
Staver Hydraulics, a Parker Hannifin distributor is looking for an Industrial Customer Service Representative located in our Sayre, PA office. This position will provide direct support to Outside Sales Representatives as well as existing customers. Additional responsibilities involve interaction with customers, vendors, and staff to review pricing on incoming orders and vendor order creation.
This person will need to work on projects independently and occasionally in a team, with assistance as needed by other senior employees. There is no lead follow-up necessary with this position. Good record-keeping abilities and documentation will be beneficial to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and requirements and respond in a timely manner
- Learn product line to assist customers and outside sales representatives in technical discussions.
- Work directly with outside sales representatives to review pricing on incoming orders.
- Documentation and record keeping for orders.
- Will assist customers at the front counter as needed.
Skills
- Proven inside sales or customer service experience
- Strong phone presence
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Must be able to work both independently and as a team member
- Mechanical Aptitude
Qualifications
- One-year sales or customer service experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
