Inventory/Logistics Specialist
As part of our new Wheelchair Operations department Stavros is looking to fill the position of Full-time Benefits Eligible 35 hour / week Inventory/Logistics Specialist

Join our new Wheelchair Operations team which is committed to improving wheelchair service issues by reducing delays for wheelchair repairs and by providing a loaner wheelchair when a complex time-consuming repair is required.
As our Inventory/Logistics Specialist you will help maintain the independence and dignity of wheelchair users. This position supports the Wheelchair Operations programs by tracking inventory, monitoring service schedules, supporting billing, and backing up departmental team members.

Requirements
As our Inventory/Logistics Specialist, your primary Responsibilities will include:
- Tracking wheelchair inventory purchased for loan: new purchases, on loan, loaner maintenance, ready to loan; periodic stock counting of physical inventory
- Tracking wheelchair repair parts inventory: new purchases, parts deployment, parts restocking; periodic stock counting of physical inventory
- Supports the creation and monitoring of service scheduling for home-based wheelchair delivery and repair visits
- Provides support to the billing process for wheelchair loaners and repair
- Provides back-up Customer Service support as needed

As our Inventory/Logistics Specialist, you must possess the following Required Skills/Abilities:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency certificate
- Organized, diligent, fastidious attention to detail, comfort with numbers
- Ability to work independently, to problem solve, and to multi-task
- Ability to collaborate and work as a member of a team
- Computer technology aptitude and experience using PC and phone-based applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory, scheduling/logistics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet, data tracking software
- Experience with parts and repair service
- Experience working with people with disabilities or home-based support services
- Familiarity with HIPAA or related information security and privacy practices
