Description :

The Cloud Engineer oversees, manages and maintains all aspects of the company’s cloud infrastructure which includes networking, operational security programs, compute resources and storage within the cloud environment. Makes suggestions to management on improvements to the cloud environment in terms of availability, redundancy and efficiency. Reviews and assess potential security threats to the company’s network and provides recommendations for remediation of identified deficiencies. These assessments include evaluating technological, operational, and process controls in order to properly architect, design and implement security controls. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities

Oversees all company cloud environments
Works with supervisor to improve cloud workloads
Maintains a cloud security system with regular process reviews
Maintains knowledge of relevant emerging technologies and changes to existing technologies. Will recommend system enhancements and improvements as needed.
Periodically performs internal quality control to ensure policies and procedures are followed accordingly.
Maintain, implement, and test disaster responsiveness and recovery plan.
Responsibility for maintaining and monitoring PCI and security compliance as well as document the findings and recommend a resolution to the incident.
Daily monitoring of operational systems to ensure system availability during peak and off-peak hours.
Will routinely monitor, maintain, and report on security measures in accordance with PCI DSS guidelines, SOC controls, and company policies.
Will directly and immediately report any instances of security violations, critical hardware device failures, or data breaches related to the corporate network infrastructure as described in Incident Response Policy.

You are comfortable with communicating technology impacts and risk to various levels of executive management understanding the need to tailor and deliver appropriate content for given audience

You demonstrate an ability to understand compliance and security issues and concisely communicate the same to internal partners, external audit representatives and corporate management.

You have the ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing, and team-oriented environment

Technical skills need to have broad knowledge of information technology processing systems, concepts, and methodologies. Demonstrate aptitude for learning and implementing new technologies.

Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze complex data, evaluate information and systems, and draw logical conclusions

Demonstrated skills in effectively working with all levels of management

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements :

The individual must possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate with technical personnel, non-technical personnel, and senior management.

The individual must be pro-active, flexible, and able to work independently, adjusting quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Must demonstrate strong leadership attributes as well as the innate ability to follow and be a supportive team member.

High level knowledge of network infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Working knowledge of network configuration for business enterprise.

Working knowledge of measuring, monitoring, evaluating and tuning overall network infrastructure for security and performance.
