Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students, ensuring their educational and social needs are met
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging educational activities and lessons
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and areas that require additional support
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement lesson plans
- Help with classroom management, including supervising students during activities and transitions
- Support students with special educational needs, including those with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Demonstrate an understanding of childhood development and learning theories, applying this knowledge to support student growth and development
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a classroom setting, particularly in early childhood education or special education
- Proven ability to work with young children, including those with special educational needs
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and learning theories
- Experience with classroom management and behavior support
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences and supporting student growth and development
Skills:
- Toddler care and early childhood education
- Experience in nannying, babysitting, or working in daycare settings
- Strong understanding of childhood development and learning theories
- Experience in special education or working with students with special educational needs
- Proven classroom management skills
- Ability to educate and support students in a classroom setting
- Experience working in a classroom environment and supporting student growth and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
