POSITION SUMMARY:
The Enhancement Laborer is responsible for assisting in landscape enhancement projects, including planting, mulching, irrigation installation, and hardscape work. This position requires physical labor, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards while supporting the crew leader in executing enhancement projects efficiently
EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
- Prior experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or construction.
- A valid Class "C" California Driver’s License is required.
- Basic knowledge of plant materials, irrigation systems, and landscape tools is a plus.
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools, including:
- Blower, Edger, Hand tools, Hedge trimmer, String trimmer, Pole pruner, Gas-powered hand tools (chainsaw, trimmers, etc.), Electric-powered hand tools, Stand-on skid steer, Heavy equipment operation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Project Execution & Support
- Assist with planting, mulching, soil preparation, and other landscape enhancement tasks.
- Support irrigation installation, adjustments, and minor repairs under supervision.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Follow instructions from the Enhancement Crew Leader and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the crew leader or supervisor immediately.
- Customer Service & Communication
- Conduct oneself professionally while on job sites, representing Stay Green Inc. in a positive manner.
- Respond courteously to client inquiries and direct them to the appropriate supervisor if needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently and to high-quality standards.

- Maintain good attendance and follow company policies regarding time off and scheduling.
- Wear company-approved uniform and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 3 years of landscaping experience, 2-3 years of enhancement experience
- Knowledge of reading plans.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
