POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tree Care Production Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing and managing all tree care operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship. This role involves managing crews, coordinating daily scheduling, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Timekeeping, incident reporting, work order management, and system data entry is essential for this role.

Essential Job Functions:
A. Operations & Crew Management:
· Oversee daily operations of tree care crews, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and safely.
· Maintain proper staffing levels and assign work based on skill, efficiency, and project demands.
· Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
· Ensure compliance with ANSI Z133, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
· Monitor crew performance, providing coaching and discipline when necessary.
· Oversee maintenance and availability of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
B. Scheduling & Job Execution:
· Plan and schedule tree care operations for maximum efficiency and productivity.
· Utilize Aspire Multi-Day Scheduler to schedule all work at least two weeks in advance.
· Communicate daily with Crew Leaders and sales teams to minimize errors and maximize job execution.
C. Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction:
· Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
· Conduct on-site inspections to verify work completion and safety.
· Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution within 24 hours.
· Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
· Conduct job site assessments, diagnose tree health issues, and recommend appropriate treatments or removals.
· Monitor job performance to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
D. Reporting & Documentation:
· Track and verify crew hours daily in Aspire.
· Ensure timely submission of job completion paperwork for invoicing.
· Assist in collecting payments from clients if necessary.
· Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and employee injuries, reporting them immediately to Human Resources.
E. Leadership & Professionalism:
· Uphold and enforce company policies while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
· Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide development plans for crew members.
· Ensure company vehicles, tools, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained.
· Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining strong relationships with customers, employees, and vendors.
· Maintain organizational and employee confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Strong knowledge of tree biology, pruning techniques, disease diagnosis, and industry equipment.
· Experience managing teams and scheduling work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in using job management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
· Open, create, receive and respond to emails utilizing Outlook.
· Proficient Microsoft Word to create, edit and complete documents and memos.
· Proficient Excel, SharePoint and Power Point to create, edit and complete projects and tasks as needed.
· Proficient use of Aspire, CRM, Proposify and other industry related software.
· Comfortable apps, laptop, desktop, cell phone, software programs, with training as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
