Stay Home Senior Services is looking for 2 additional home care team members to assist our growing needs in and around the Gettysburg/New Oxford area. We have ample hours, and full time and part time opportunities available now. If you have a heart for helping our growing senior population remain as independent as possible. This is a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care and assistance to clients based on their individual needs and care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
```Requirements:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
