Assistant Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, guiding their development through engaging activities and play. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in accordance with early childhood education standards.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction, cooperation, and respect among peers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that supports learning and exploration.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
• Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and adapting activities as necessary to support individual growth.

Skills

• Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience working with students in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of toddler care techniques and childhood development milestones.
• Ability to create engaging classroom activities that promote learning through play.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Previous experience in caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying is a plus.
