We are currently searching for a Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Staybridge Suites Cincinnati North, located in West Chester Ohio. Candidates must love customer service, greeting hotel guests, as well as taking pride in the stocking and cleanliness of their station. Candidate must Strive to deliver a “wow” factor of hospitality to all guests. Candidate must be able to work weekends as well as holidays, multi-task and deal with a fast paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome.
- Provide courteous guest service promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain guests’ satisfaction of the breakfast items and area at all times.
- Prepare social and/or breakfast by stocking the serving areas with items according to brand standards.
- Assist guests with special requests/food allergies.
- Maintain serving areas before, during, and after social hours (Mon-
Wed 5:30pm - 7pm) and break down the serving line when hours are over. This applies to Breakfast 2 days a week 5am - 11am
- Responsible for daily cleaning of bar items.
- May perform other duties as required or assigned including but not limited to the cleaning of public restrooms, guest laundry room and lobby area.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
General Knowledge, Skill and Ability
- Requires ability to communicate in a friendly manner with guests in order to create a warm, comfortable, relaxing environment.
- Requires knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community and breakfast hours.
- Requires ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels.
Mental and Physical Requirements
EDUCATION:
Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in working with the public or food service experience preferred, but not required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Requires ability to walk and stand during entire working period of 5 - 6 hours. Requires ability to lift 20 - 30 pounds intermittently during the work shift. Requires ability to push a vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend in routine daily work activities.
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: $14.00 /hour with $ .25 raise after successful completion of 90 day probationary period
