Job Description
Our Housekeepers
- Monitor and maintains high level of guestroom quality cleaning, event areas, storage areas, restrooms and public areas and offices;
- Maintaining the deep cleaning program of vacant rooms and spaces, public spaces, storage areas and rest areas daily and addresses imperfections; completes cleaning of suites according to brand standards and company expectations;
- Consistently monitor and manage the hotel’s appearance, with quality and attention to detail always in mind;
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas;
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy; Replenish supplies such as guest room items, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items;
- Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors;
- Simultaneously manage several projects to completion;
- Possess knowledge of all aspects of facility;
- Participate in team and company meetings;
- Attends monthly department meetings;
- Completes projects as determined by Management;
Additional Job Requirements:
- Hotel experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train.
- Ability to work with all types of people.
- Nights, weekends, and holidays required;
- Have computer skills and the ability to learn hotel operating system, MS office and internet.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. The exposure to hazards or physical risks requires following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment.
