We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the Staybridge Lansing-Okemos team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all guest rooms are well-maintained.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Background in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is a plus.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
